Description
Broad-spectrum antibiotic. Contains Oxitetraciclina
solution for injection.
Composition
Oxytetracycline dihydrate 20
g
Agents formulation c.s.p. 100 mL
Action
Broad-spectrum antibiotic for the treatment of infections
of cattle, sheep and pigs, caused by bacteria susceptible
to oxytetracycline.
Indications
Indicated for the treatment and control of diseases
caused by organisms sensitive to oxytetracycline,
which include large numbers of Gram positive and Gram
negative aerobic and anaerobic, certain species of
Mycoplasma, Ricketsias, protozoa, Chlamydia and spirochetes.
CATTLE: Anaplasmosis, pneumonia,
leptospirosis, pietín, mastitis Septicemic,
symptomatic anthrax, bacterial enteritis, Actinobacillosis,
umbilical-articular infection, infected wounds and
other infections caused by Gram-positive and Gram-negative.
SHEEP: Pneumonia, anthrax symptomatic
pietín, Septicemic mastitis, infection prevention
and post-partum in all or non-specific infections
caused by microorganisms sensitive to oxytetracycline.
PIGS: Pneumonia and other respiratory
diseases, atrophic rhinitis, leptospirosis, erysipelas,
bacterial enteritis, diarrhea of piglets post-surgical
infections and post-partum and in all infections caused
by gram-positive and Gram-negative.
Precautions
Store in the original container.
Avoid contact with mouth and hands.
Wash hands after using the product.
Respect the doses and intervals indicated.
Can cause swelling and pain at the injection site.

Contraindications
Do not apply to animals allergic to oxytetracycline.
Do not administer penicillin or chloramphenicol concomitantly.

PRESENTAtION
Glass bottles x 250 and 500 mL
DOSIFICATION
Cattle, Sheep and Pigs: 1 mL/10 kgp.v. (equivalent to 20
mg Proxy -LA.)
Administered intramuscularly deep in all species. We recommend
dividing the dose applied in separate places, should not
be injected more than 20 mL per point of application. Lambs
over 50 kg is recommended to divide the dose and proceed
as above. In pigs with less than 10 kg, applied subcutaneously
behind the ear in animals weighing more than 10kg should
be intramuscular application.
REPETICON TREATMENT
PROXY-LA. is a long-acting antibiotic, which
is generally sufficient to administer a single dose. However,
in severe infections it may be repeated for 3-5 days, it
is up to the veterinarian.
APPLICATION
Injection.
RESTRICTIONS ON USE
Between the end of treatment and slaughter of animals for human
consumption. Must elapse for cattle, sheep and pigs, 28
days. Do not use in cows producing milk for human consumption.
Do not apply to animals allergic to oxytetracycline.
Do not administer concomitantly penicillins.
